The last thing anyone wants to hear is “it’s an emergency” … especially if it has to do with your family members. That’s why, as a group of compassionate dental professionals, we decided to provide service to anyone who calls our practice with a dental emergency.
While you are just like us – advocates for prevention and safety – accidents do happen. And dental pain from abscesses, cracks, or lost and broken restorations (and more) can “appear out of nowhere” and catch you by surprise.
When you call us for help, we promise to take the time and give the gentle care to relieve your discomfort and put you at ease.
We’ll assess the cause, discuss options with you, and initiate an effective treatment plan. We will take the first steps toward fixing the problem and put in place a follow-up plan.
Here are our top 3 emergency prevention tips:
- Maintain impeccable home care. Brush for 2 minutes twice a day, floss once a day, and rinse with water after meals when you can’t brush.
- Keep your recare appointments. We can see so much more than you can in your bathroom mirror! Because of this, we can effectively intercept small issues that may become bigger ones.
- Always wear a mouthguard when playing sports that have any chance of impact. Some of the most risky are hockey, basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, boxing, and martial arts.
All of us at Bloor Dental Clinic sincerely care about you and your family. If you find yourself or a loved one in a painful situation, call us! We’ll fit you in as soon as we can and will always provide effective relief and solutions.
